- Branded luxury names (e.g. Ritz-Carlton, Armani) are entering RAK’s real estate market, raising its profile.
- By 2030, branded residences are expected to make up about 25% of upcoming freehold supply—≈4,800 units.
- Total new residential units expected by 2030 is ≈ 19,300, reshaping the skyline.

7. Entertainment & Gaming as Emerging Draws
- The planned Wynn Al Marjan Island gaming resort is a high-profile example. It gives RAK something unique in the UAE in terms of entertainment/leisure offerings.
- These developments are helping RAK differentiate itself from simply being a quiet or secondary destination—it’s aiming for destination status.
